For the 2025-26 edition, we were inspired by the atmosphere of Ceramics, by the works from the last edition of the Biennial, which, donated to the future Biennale Museum, become a source of inspiration and creation… and this is present in the collection of the International Biennale of Artistic Ceramics. To this exhibition were selected the most recent pieces incorporated in the collection.

Combine the enjoyment of the Biennale collection with the experience of being comfortably accommodated in participating hotels in Aveiro.

“Between Mind and Matter: Chinese Clay Objects”

Carlos Xavier Reis Collection

Confucius Institute – University of Aveiro

From monday to friday | 10am – 5pm

This exhibition aims to showcase the art of clay working in China, through objects associated with the preparation and consumption of tea. The teapots of various shapes, colors and sizes stand out, with symbolic, distinctly oriental decorations, featuring elements of fauna, flora and calligraphy.
